




Have you ever wondered what is really in the personal care products that you use every day?
In this design study, we explored the idea of transparency of a product, through its design as well as its identity.
Lewis soaps are all-natural soaps that have a simple concept: they reflect the number of ingredients through the number of faces on the soap. If the soap has 4 sides, it has 4 ingredients – no more, no less. Lewis soaps range from very basic soaps to more complex mixtures of smells, colours, and even textures.
The brand’s name was inspired from Lewis structures in the field of chemistry, which show the structure and composition of molecules. Similarly, the icons found on the packaging show the ingredients of each soap in a visual and transparent manner.
